Scientists' breakthrough in production of biofuels
We would like to congratulate Professor Will Zimmerman from the University of Sheffield and his team for winning the prestigious Moulton Medal from the institution of Chemical Engineers in recognition of their work on a device which will make the production of alternative biofuels more energy efficient.
Yorkshire Concept Proof of Commercial Concept Fund is delighted to contribute to the research.
Professor Zimmerman is now supported by the fund in two projects :
- Ozone plasma microreactor development for wastewater treatment - approved December 2007
- Field trials of microbubble flotation actuated by fluidic oscillation - approved September 2009
