Regional Investors

The Yorkshire Concept Fund works closely within the regional access to finance infrastructure and has some follow on funders on its Board, as well as working closely with other partners and stakeholders. Such partner agencies offer a wide range of services including further investment and training programmes for entrepreneurs, business start ups with access to mentors and business angels; for example Connect Yorkshire, Yorkshire Fund Managers, Yorkshire Association of Business Angels, the Viking Fund, Business Link Yorkshire, Partnership Investment Finance and the South Yorkshire Investment Fund.

Investment Readiness Workshops

Connect Yorkshire are running a series of Investment Readiness workshops aimed to address the important question: "What is an investor looking for and how can I give myself the best chance of raising finance?". This is a series of 6 free-of-charge workshops, delivered by experienced professionals starting with "Practical Business Plans & Going Global" on the 13th April 2010.
